Advanced Media Production – Final Assignment:
• Used the warp stabilizer to smooth out the footage and give it a gliding, smoothing effect when moving in on the students.
• Intro – brought background image, brought crest in as another layer, changed the opacity of the two so they weren’t so bright. Created a text layer, used the effect bevel and emboss. Created a keyframe at the beginning of the composition, created another at the end to give the text a zooming effect.
• Used the mask tool to make it look like the students were creating the work themselves on screen.
• Used time warp on some of the clips to slow them down.
• Attempted smoke by creating a solid, added code wiggle, used effect particle playground, used blur to smooth it out and make the smoke look realistic.
• Added text animation effects for my text scenes – used the typewriter preset as I thought it was relevant to computing.
• Masked the layers that included the screens to make it look like the students were working on different subjects using the pen tool.
